break the loop.
modern psychiatry guided by evidenced-based science, creativity, and compassion.
I am an Ivy-League trained medical doctor specializing in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), OCD-related disorders, and anxiety-spectrum disorders (i.e. Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder). I have additional expertise in treating college & graduate students, healthcare providers, and other working professionals, such as those navigating high expectations, internal pressure, and quiet burnout.
I offer a holistic and personalized approach to mental health- blending medication (when needed), integrative tools, and therapy. My work is grounded in evidence-based care, but shaped by individuality, curiosity, and sensitivity to the effort it takes to appear grounded with a mind that is spiraling.
a rare combination.
I can both treat OCD by prescribing medication and/or provide Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) - the most effective therapy for OCD. That means we can go deeper and use an integrated approach that appreciates the nuances of tailored medication regimens, highly specialized therapy, life style interventions and the value of blending multiple forms of treatment.

I specialize in treating all forms of OCD. This includes subtypes that are less talked about in the media, like harm OCD, relationship OCD, pedophilia OCD, existential/morality-based OCD, and somatic/health OCD. I also treat related disorders, such as body dysmorphic disorder, misophonia, emetophobia, and hoarding disorder. These experiences are often misunderstood, and it can feel scary to talk about them - even with mental health providers - for fear of being judged. I create a space where you don’t have to explain why your fears feel real or worry that they’ll be taken the wrong way. You deserve care that understands OCD and sees the person, not just the symptoms.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety symptoms, such as generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety disorder (SAD), panic disorder, and specific phobias. Anxiety can feel overwhelming, even paralyzing. Anxiety can interfere with sleep, relationships, work, or simply feeling at ease in your own mind. My goal is to help you better understand what’s happening and find ways forward that make daily life more manageable.

Many people I see also experience co-occurring challenges like depression, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder, or bipolar disorder. These issues often overlap and deserve treatment that sees the full picture, not just one diagnosis at a time.

As someone who has gone through medical training myself, I understand the unique mental health challenges that come with life in healthcare. Whether it’s the stigma around seeking help, the pressure to appear “resilient,” or the burnout that no one wants to talk about - I've been there. I know how mentally taxing it can be to spend time just trying to explain the day-to-day realities of hospital workflow, shift work, & clinical pressures to someone who hasn’t lived it. And, for doctors - it’s confusing (board exams, the match process, residency training demands). Even with the best intentions, it can be hard to fully grasp from the outside. You don’t have to start from scratch here - I get it. I also understand the concerns around confidentiality and licensing, and I’m committed to creating a safe, private space where you can speak openly.

Whether you're in college, graduate school, tech, law, medicine, academia, or another high-pressure environments, the stress can be relentless. I’ve worked with students and professionals navigating burnout, perfectionism, performance anxiety, imposter syndrome, and major life decisions - all while trying to meet intense demands. It can be exhausting to explain the structure, culture, or unspoken pressures of your field to others. My goal is to offer a space where you can focus on yourself - not on explaining the culture or pressures of your field.
